Brewmaster Edition by Ludwig Gerlinger.

California Common – A historic beer style dating back to the Gold Rush era in the USA. A tribute to the Gold Rush with its adventures and stories.

It has an estery and fruity character, yet possesses a distinct malt body and a pronounced bitterness with a herbal-minty note in the finish.

Bottom-fermented beers were something completely new at that time and were increasingly spread to the USA by German immigrants. And so it was often brewers who immigrated from Germany who shaped this beer style. California Common is a hybrid of top-fermented ales and bottom-fermented lagers, both historically and in terms of taste. - Refreshing, easy-drinking, herbal!
