About Camba
Welcome to the "Camba Bavaria": brewery, brewery shop, bakery, beer garden, bar and home of the Camba beer specialties in the heart of the Chiemgau. From freshly tapped beer to handmade bread and pastries: at the "Camba" we live beer enjoyment, culinary delights and a cozy atmosphere in the middle of our brewery. Our passion for enjoyment is already hidden in the name: "Camba" used to be the name of the room in monasteries where baking and brewing took place.
At home in Seeon
Because the small brewery in Truchtlaching soon became too small, "Camba Bavaria" found a new home in the neighboring town of Seeon in 2016. Not only are the Camba beers brewed here, but the BrauKon brewery equipment is also manufactured here. A state-of-the-art brewery has been created here, where the brewing is done with great love for the craft of brewing. There are already over 250 different beers in total, and the permanent range includes 9 international varieties and 6 traditional beers as well as some limited and seasonal beer specialties.
How it all began
The “Camba Bavaria” was originally founded in 2008 as a showroom for the brewing equipment manufacturer BrauKon in Truchtlaching. In the old mill on the banks of the Alz, founder Markus Lohner wanted to show customers from all over the world how his brewing equipment worked and what variety of beers could be brewed with it.
With success: The test beers tasted good and “Camba Bavaria” developed into a pioneer in the beer industry with a diverse range of traditional and international beers.

Ancient brewing tradition with the right dose of innovation - Camba brews the right beer for every taste, from the classic Helles to the hoppy IPA. International beer styles such as ales and stouts, traditional classics such as Helles and wheat beer, as well as our wood-barrel-aged specialties are brewed according to all the rules of the art of brewing. The best malt and hop varieties from regional and various growing areas around the world, different yeast strains and special recipes give Camba beers their unique taste.
