Our Braumeister Edition #62 for the month of May is here, brewed by Braumeister Jens Klein.

#62 OATLANDER
This fruity-fresh East Coast Wheat is now available in limited quantities in our online store and our brewery store.

Jens Klein answered the following questions about his Braumeister Edition:

Why did you choose this style of beer and what is special about your recipe?
The beer was inspired by New England IPAs and their velvety finish. Since I also am a
big wheat beer fan, I have tried to combine the two styles and hope to create a high
drinkability hereby.

How would you describe the taste and how does the name fit?
Velvety smooth with a fruity-fresh wheat beer note. The name comes from the combination of
Wheat beer with the oats typical of a New England IPA.

What occasion does this beer go with?
To a summer barbecue but also as a summit beer on a mountain tour.
