Why did you choose this beer style and what is special about your recipe?

I chose this beer style because I wanted to create a lighter version of a New England IPA—one that retains the fruity aromatics and smooth mouthfeel of this style, but offers slightly less alcohol and more drinkability. The idea came to me while attending the 2024 Craft Brewers Conference in Las Vegas. There, I had the opportunity to sample some beers from local breweries that followed this exact direction—perfectly suited to the hot, dry climate of the desert metropolis. This experience inspired me to develop my own interpretation that is refreshing, modern, and pleasantly light.

How would you describe the taste and how does the name fit?

The beer is pleasantly light, fruity, and refreshing—perfect for warm days. The name "Roadrunner" is fitting, as it alludes to the bird native to the Nevada desert and represents lightness and speed—just like this beer: quickly consumed and ideal for the heat.

What occasion is this beer suitable for?

This beer is the perfect companion for a warm summer evening—refreshing, uncomplicated, and full of flavor. Whether for a relaxed snack in the shade or a barbecue with friends
