Why did you choose this beer style and what is special about your recipe?

At Camba Bavaria, back in the "Truchtlaching days," this beer style was first brewed with the legendary Camba Bavaria 2Sour. Later, I relaunched it in Seeon as an optimized variation called 2Sour Reloaded, the Braumeister Edition. But I quickly decided: This can't be the end – it can be even better! This is how the idea for the "Flower Power Sour" was born. All of our previous experience, our modern BrauKon technologies like Hop Back Pellet, HopSepp, and HopGun 2.0, as well as requests and suggestions for a kettle-soured beer collected over the years, all flowed into this new brew. The goal was clear: Stronger! Sourer! Fruitier! Floral! Hoppier! Cooler! A new sour beer with real character.

How would you describe the taste and how does the name fit?

An affirming cloud of refreshment – it grabs you in the here and now and sends you on an almost psychedelic journey through your taste buds. The first sip conjures up images: colors, colorful clouds, flowers – and a feeling of pure happiness. There's only one name left: Flower Power Sour.

What occasion is this beer suitable for?

A Flower Power Sour can do a lot: Enjoyed neat, it brings true happiness – all on its own. It harmoniously accompanies a rich dessert, pairs perfectly with strong cheese, and is practically an insider tip as an aperitif. One thing that applies to our Flower Power Sour is that sour makes you happy 😉

Design:

The Braumeister Edition No. 86 "Flower Power Sour" impresses with a colorful 70s design full of flowers and joie de vivre. The name combines a nostalgic flower power spirit with the sparkling character of a modern kettle sour.
